Our story

Himachalis.com was born from a simple idea: bringing Himachalis together, no matter where they live. What started as a small gathering of friends in the Bay Area, California, soon grew into a beloved annual Himachali picnic celebrating our culture, traditions, food, music, and community spirit.

Over the years, these gatherings helped connect fellow Himachalis, strengthen friendships, and inspire younger generations to stay connected to their roots and heritage. The love and enthusiasm from the community also encouraged many others to organise Himachali events and cultural activities of their own.

Today, Himachalis.com is a platform dedicated to connecting Himachalis across the world. Not through a single central portal, but through local communities in each city, run by people who actually live there.
